Sarah Hayley Orrantia
Sarah Hayley Orrantia, born on 21 February 1994, is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Her most well-known role is her character Erica Goldberg, a comedian on ABC's The Goldbergs. She was a part of Lakoda Rayne, a country pop girl group assembled by Paula Abdul during the first season of The X Factor. In 2015 her first single "Love Sick," was released. Her debut EP, The Way Out, was released in May of 2015. Orrantia began singing when she was an infant and began training to be a professional singer at age 12. She was 13 when she wrote her first single. At the age of 13, she recorded her first cover song. She also began writing with Jamie Houston, a songwriter famous for her hit songs for the Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was a contestant in summer 2011 for the opportunity to be part of the initial season of The X Factor. Orrantia was selected from a YouTube submission and received four votes of approval from the judges on the live audition stage in Seattle. She initially auditioned as an individual artist during Hollywood Week. However, she, along with three other female singers were grouped into an ensemble to continue the auditions under Lakoda Riayne. They were eliminated during the fifth week during the live shows.
