Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously served in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson for the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and later became governor of Iowa. Psaki was John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State.  There was speculation that Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she remained until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
