Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. She is best known for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. As a result of her portrayal as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. In the final season of the show Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13 on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick got an Golden Globe nomination for her role as Madeline Wuntch on Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII, a speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was an Episcopalian and of English origin. Sedgwick has stated that she is Jewish and has stated that she attends Passover seders.
